Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Institute of Internal Auditors — Zambia ("IIA Zambia") membership portal (membership.iiazambia.com). By claiming a profile, signing in, registering for an event, or submitting a membership application through this site, you agree to these terms.

What this portal is

This portal lets IIA Zambia members view their membership status, CPE hours, certifications, and digital membership card; lets anyone verify a member's current standing; and lets the public register for IIA Zambia events and apply for membership. It is administered by IIA Zambia and its authorized staff.

Your account

• Members claim their profile by matching their own record on the official register and signing in with a Google account. You're responsible for keeping that Google account secure — anyone signed into it can access your membership information.
• Only claim a profile that is genuinely yours. IIA Zambia reserves the right to release (unlink) a claim that appears to have been made in error or by the wrong person.
• Administrator access is granted only to individuals pre-authorized by IIA Zambia and is not available through self-service sign-up.

Membership dues and payments

This portal displays membership fees and dues information and lets administrators record payments, but it does not itself process card or bank payments. Dues and fees are paid directly to IIA Zambia via the bank details shown on the relevant page (e.g. the membership application form). Recording a payment in this system reflects a payment IIA Zambia has already received through those channels — it is not a payment gateway.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to claim, access, or alter another member's profile without authorization.
• Don't use the public verification or event registration tools to harvest data about members or registrants.
• Don't attempt to bypass, probe, or disrupt the portal's security, including RLS (row-level security) or authentication controls.
• Provide accurate information when applying for membership, registering for an event, or updating your profile.

Membership eligibility and standing

Use of this portal doesn't itself confer or guarantee IIA Zambia membership. Membership status, applications, and renewals are determined by IIA Zambia in accordance with its own membership policies; this portal reflects those decisions, it doesn't make them.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep this portal available and accurate, but it may be unavailable at times for maintenance or due to factors outside our control, and features may change or be discontinued as the portal evolves. Membership cards, badges, and verification results reflect information believed accurate at the time they are generated.

Limitation of liability

This portal is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, IIA Zambia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this portal.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the portal after a change means you accept the updated terms.
